Eric Bishea

Chief Executive Officer

Eric is chief executive officer of the Access Group, responsible for the strategic management, leadership, and direction of the company and its business entities. Eric brings 28 years of pharmaceutical and managed care marketing experience to his position as CEO, where he is the guiding force behind the results-driven solutions that we achieve for our clients.

Since joining the Access Group in 2003, Eric has expertly counseled our clients on how to effectively navigate critical product life cycle stages, from prelaunch market shaping, to first-to-market and competitive launches, through postlaunch access and reimbursement. He is highly regarded for his strategic innovation and tactical expertise on commercial accounts, particularly for those clients seeking to gain traction with employers and Medicare Parts B and D. Eric’s ability to analyze and identify influences and opportunities across all target audiences has led to numerous successful initiatives for our clients’ brands. As an invaluable client partner, Eric brings forth a unique combination of therapeutic and drug delivery experience, coupled with strength across multiple levels of marketing disciplines, including sales training, key opinion leader advocacy, and cost modeling.

Eric began his pharmaceutical career in 1988 as a sales representative at Allergan Pharmaceuticals. In 1989, Eric was recruited by Searle to serve as Area Manager with a focus on women’s health care and hypnotics. His role at Searle expanded into regional and national account management, market development, and channel marketing. When Searle merged with Pharmacia in 2000, Eric led a senior account management team in the Midwest, where his team achieved unprecedented success and recognition. Additionally, he served as leader of a sales region in the women’s healthcare franchise, where he guided and directed the region to top performance.

A distinguished military graduate who served as a captain in the United States Army, Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin.
