Megan JonesGeneral Manager
Megan is General Manager of The Access Group and oversees the Client Services, Creative, and Operations departments. Megan’s understanding of the promotional continuum allows her to use her marketing, advertising,and medical education background to integrate managed market channels into clients’ strategic plans.
Megan helps clients determine the optimum strategies and tactics to exceed their objectives throughout their products’ life cycles. On behalf of her clients, she has worked across the product life cycle spectrum, from developing disease-state value propositions to implementing pull-through programs for products with loss of exclusivity. Prior to joining The Access Group, Megan served as a product manager for small- and medium-cap pharmaceutical companies. She was responsible for strategic planning and the day-to-day management of promotional medical education, e-marketing, nonpersonal promotions, and pharmacy programs.
Over the past 20 years, Megan has led teams in therapeutic areas such as pain, cardiovascular, diabetes, women’s health, oncology, anti-infectives, respiratory, and allergy—ranging from orphan products to billion-dollar blockbusters. This includes US and global new product launches and line extensions. She also has an interest in supporting clients’ overall portfolios, and developed above brand strategies during her five-year tenure at The Access Group.
Megan received her bachelor of arts degree with honors from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania.
