Working with the Government Policy Systems team, Dr Guerin is responsible for providing innovative and effective recommendations, targeted analyses, and deliverables related to key trends in government-sponsored health care programs and managed markets to the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, emerging health care delivery systems and quality measures, pharmacoeconomics, and health care reform).
Dr Guerin also has extensive education and experience in applying the principles of Health Psychology in medication adherence programs. Dr Guerin has worked on adherence programs for both pharma and payer groups using validated measures to identify unhelpful perceptions about medication and illness and implementing interventions targeting these barriers to adherence. Dr Guerin’s pharmaceutical experience includes new product launches, line extensions, and programs addressing adherence issues for a variety of therapeutic areas such as cardiovascular, diabetes, antipsychotics, transplant, orphan drugs, and biologic compounds.
